Description
A delicious and easy no-bake layered dessert featuring a vanilla cookie crust, a creamy cheesecake layer, a cheesecake pudding layer, and fresh strawberries, all topped with whipped cream.
Ingredients
36 cookies vanilla sandwich cookies
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 (16 ounce) containers whipped topping, divided
2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant pudding mix, cheesecake flavor
3 cups milk
4 cups sliced strawberries
Instructions
- Pulse the sandwich cookies in a food processor until they are fine crumbs. In a large bowl, mix the cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish and chill.
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 cup of whipped topping with an electric mixer until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled cookie layer.
- In the same bowl, beat the instant pudding mix, milk, and another 1 cup of whipped topping with an electric mixer for 2 minutes. Spread this pudding layer over the cream cheese layer.
- Arrange the sliced strawberries over the pudding layer. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the strawberries to cover the top completely.
- Garnish with additional strawberries if desired. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until set, before serving.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to room temperature to prevent a lumpy texture.
If you don’t have a food processor, place cookies in a large resealable bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
For the firmest set, it is best to chill the dessert overnight.
