Description
An incredibly easy fall dessert, this Pumpkin Dump Cake combines a creamy pumpkin layer with a buttery, spiced cake topping.
Ingredients

15 ounce can pumpkin puree (NOT pumpkin pie mix)
12 ounce can evaporated milk
3 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 box spice cake mix
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350F degrees and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, and ground cinnamon until well-combined.
- Step 3: Pour the liquid pumpkin mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Step 4: Sprinkle the dry spice cake mix evenly over the top of the pumpkin mixture.
- Step 5: Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix layer.
- Step 6: Bake for 55-60 minutes.
- Step 7: Let the cake cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
The cake might still be just a bit jiggly in the middle when done baking.
It will continue to set up as it cools.
