Description
A sweet and crunchy dessert salad featuring crisp apples, Butterfinger candy bars, and a creamy peanut butter pudding base.

1 3.4 ounce box Instant vanilla pudding mix
1 ½ cups nonfat milk
¼ cup peanut butter
1 8 ounce container Cool Whip
12 Fun Sized Butterfinger candy bars, chopped (about 2 cups)
5–7 Granny Smith apples, cored and diced
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and the milk. Let the mixture stand for about 5 minutes to set.
- Step 2: Whisk the peanut butter into the pudding mixture until it is as smooth as possible. A hand mixer can also be used.
- Step 3: Gently fold the Cool Whip into the pudding mixture until combined.
- Step 4: Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the chopped Butterfinger candy bars.
- Step 5: Add the diced apples and stir to incorporate everything evenly.
- Step 6: Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Step 7: Top with the remaining chopped Butterfinger pieces just before serving.
Notes
The salad is best when eaten on the first day but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
For extra color and texture, you can leave the skins on the apples.
