Description
A comforting and easy-to-make baked ravioli casserole layered with a rich meat sauce and melted mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground beef
3 cups marinara sauce
16 ounce ravioli
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°c.
- Step 2: Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the beef until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
- Step 3: Add the marinara sauce to the pan and stir until heated through, then remove from the heat.
- Step 4: Spread one-third of the sauce mixture in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Step 5: Top with half of the ravioli, followed by half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Step 6: Layer again with another third of the sauce, the remaining ravioli, and the final third of the sauce.
- Step 7: Sprinkle the remaining half of the mozzarella and all of the parmesan cheese over the top.
- Step 8: Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling, the cheese is golden, and the ravioli is cooked through.
- Step 9: Top with the chopped basil and serve.
