Description

Cherry Pie Bites are small pastries filled with cherry pie filling and cream cheese. They are baked until golden and can be topped with a powdered sugar glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 1 can (about 21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons coarse sugar (optional, for topping)
  • Powdered sugar glaze (optional):
    • ½ cup powdered sugar
    • 12 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Place ½ teaspoon of cream cheese mixture in the center of each triangle.
  5. Add 1–2 cherries with a little filling on top.
  6. Fold the dough corners over the filling and pinch edges to seal.
  7. Place sealed bites on the baking sheet. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sugar if using.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. For optional glaze, stir powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then drizzle over slightly cooled bites.
  10. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use the powdered sugar glaze for extra sweetness.
  • Coarse sugar adds a crunchy topping but is optional.
  • Serve the bites warm with coffee or tea.
