Description
Cherry Pie Bites are small pastries filled with cherry pie filling and cream cheese. They are baked until golden and can be topped with a powdered sugar glaze.

- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 1 can (about 21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
- 2 tablespoons coarse sugar (optional, for topping)
- Powdered sugar glaze (optional):
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 teaspoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place ½ teaspoon of cream cheese mixture in the center of each triangle.
- Add 1–2 cherries with a little filling on top.
- Fold the dough corners over the filling and pinch edges to seal.
- Place sealed bites on the baking sheet. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sugar if using.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- For optional glaze, stir powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then drizzle over slightly cooled bites.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- You can use the powdered sugar glaze for extra sweetness.
- Coarse sugar adds a crunchy topping but is optional.
- Serve the bites warm with coffee or tea.
