Description
Caramel Apple Fluff Salad is a chilled dessert salad with pineapple, butterscotch pudding, sour cream, apples, pecans, marshmallows, and whipped topping. You finish it with caramel sauce.

- 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple, with juice
- 1 (3.4 oz) package butterscotch pudding mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 Gala apples, washed, cored, and chopped
- 1 Granny Smith apple, washed, cored, and chopped
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping, thawed
- Caramel sauce, for garnish
Instructions
- Add the dry pudding mix and the crushed pineapple with juice to a large mixing bowl.
- Stir until the mixture blends well.
- Add the sour cream and cinnamon.
- Stir until smooth and mixed well.
- Add the whipped topping and fold it in until smooth.
- Add the apples, pecans, and marshmallows.
- Stir gently until mixed in.
- Cover the bowl tightly and chill for at least 2 hours and up to 4 hours.
- Serve cold with a drizzle of caramel sauce.

- Chill the salad before serving for the best texture.
- Use firm apples so they stay crisp.
- Fold in the whipped topping gently to keep the mixture light.
