Description
Sweet Hawaiian rolls filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture and topped with a cinnamon-sugar butter, baked until golden brown.
Ingredients
Scale
1 (12 Count Package) King’s Hawaiian original sweet rolls
6 tbsp Salted Butter, melted
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
8 oz Softened Cream Cheese
2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
1 Egg
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Step 2: Place the King’s Hawaiian rolls in the dish. Carefully cut a small square in the top of each roll and gently pull out some of the bread, making sure not to cut through the bottom.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon, mixing well until combined.
- Step 4: Brush the cinnamon butter mixture generously over the tops and insides of each roll, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Step 5: In a separate mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the granulated sugar and egg, mixing until creamy and well-blended.
- Step 6: Carefully fill each roll with the cream cheese mixture, adding a generous amount into each cavity.
- Step 7: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden and the cream cheese filling is set.
- Step 8: Allow the rolls to cool slightly before slicing into individual portions and serve warm.
Notes
Be careful not to cut all the way through the bottom of the rolls when creating the cavities.
Serve warm for the best experience.
