Description

Peach sorbet without ice cream maker is a quick and easy 3-ingredient frozen dessert bursting with real peach flavor. Perfect for summer days!

Ingredients

Scale

800g ripe yellow peaches, peeled and sliced (fresh or frozen)

200g caster sugar

1 tbsp lemon juice (or to taste)

Instructions

Prep the peaches: If using fresh peaches, slice them into eighths and peel each slice. If using frozen, ensure they are thawed slightly to blend easily.

Blend: Add the sliced peaches and caster sugar to a food processor. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.

Taste and adjust: Gradually add the lemon juice and blend again. Taste and adjust if needed—the lemon enhances the peach flavor.

Freeze: Pour the peach mixture into a freezer-safe container and smooth the top. Cover tightly and freeze for 6–7 hours, or until firm.

Serve: Allow the sorbet to sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping to ensure a smoother, creamier texture.

Notes

Always use ripe, fragrant peaches for best flavor.

The ideal fruit-to-sugar ratio is 4:1 by weight.

Taste before freezing to adjust lemon and sugar levels.

For best results, freeze the mixture in a shallow container.
