Description
Strawberry Banana Cheesecake Salad is a creamy, no bake fruit dessert made with smooth cream cheese, sweet strawberries, ripe bananas, and fluffy whipped topping. Ready in just 15 minutes, this easy recipe is perfect for potlucks, holidays, barbecues, or a simple family dessert.
Ingredients
8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1½ cups strawberry banana yogurt
8 ounce container whipped topping, thawed
4 cups fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and quartered, divided
2½ cups ripe bananas, sliced just before serving, divided
Instructions
- Begin by placing the softened cream cheese into a large mixing bowl. Using a handheld mixer on medium high speed, beat the cream cheese for about 1 to 1½ minutes until it becomes smooth and creamy with no visible lumps.
- Next, add the granulated sugar and pure vanilla extract. Continue mixing for another 1½ to 2 minutes, ensuring everything is fully incorporated and light in texture.
- Carefully stir in the strawberry banana yogurt along with the thawed whipped topping until the mixture is evenly blended and fluffy. Take your time during this step to maintain the airy consistency.
- Once combined, cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes. Chilling allows the flavors to develop and helps the mixture firm up slightly.
- Just before serving, gently fold in 3½ cups of the quartered strawberries and 2 cups of the freshly sliced bananas. Mix gently to avoid crushing the fruit. Transfer the salad to a serving dish and garnish with the reserved strawberries and bananas for a fresh and beautiful presentation.
Notes
Make sure cream cheese is fully softened to prevent lumps.
Add bananas just before serving to reduce browning.
For best texture, chill the base before folding in fruit.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Do not freeze, as texture may change.
