Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sliders are a savory, make-ahead breakfast packed with sausage, eggs, and melty cheese on sweet Hawaiian rolls. Perfect for feeding a crowd or prepping for the week!
Ingredients
24 oz ground pork sausage (2 breakfast sausage rolls)
12 Hawaiian slider buns
8 large eggs, scrambled
6 slices pepper jack cheese
8 slices American cheese
½ cup butter, melted
¼ cup maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat the Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the Sausage: Form sausage into 12 patties, slightly larger than slider buns. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked.
Prep the Buns: Carefully slice the slider buns horizontally while keeping them connected. Arrange the bottom halves snugly in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Layer the Fillings:
Spread scrambled eggs over the bottom buns.
Layer with pepper jack cheese.
Add cooked sausage patties.
Top with American cheese slices.
Gently position the top layer of buns over the assembled fillings.
Add Maple Butter Glaze: Mix melted butter and maple syrup in a small bowl. Brush generously over the top buns.
Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and buns are golden.
Serve: Let cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
Notes
For a spicy twist, use hot sausage or add jalapeños.
Sliders can be assembled a day ahead and refrigerated.
Wrap individual sliders in foil for tailgating or meal prep.
