For the Gravy and Noodles:

8 oz sliced mushrooms
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
3 cups beef stock
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
16 oz Reames frozen egg noodles
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the Meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, sauces, spices, and diced onion. Mix until fully incorporated. Form into medium-sized meatballs.
- Sear the Meatballs: Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the Vegetables: In the same pan, saute onions and mushrooms for 3-4 minutes, scraping up browned bits. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Make the Gravy: Push veggies aside, melt butter, then stir in flour to form a roux. Cook until brown, then whisk in beef stock. Add sauces and seasonings, stir to combine.
- Simmer: Bring gravy to a boil, reduce to medium-low, and return meatballs to pan. Simmer for 25-30 minutes.
- Cook the Noodles: In a separate pot, boil noodles for about 20 minutes until tender. Drain.
- Combine and Serve: Mix noodles into skillet with meatballs and gravy. Toss to coat evenly, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
