Description

No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Pretzel Pie is a creamy, layered dessert featuring a buttery pretzel crust, smooth peanut butter cheesecake filling, rich chocolate pudding, and fluffy whipped topping. This easy no bake treat is perfect for holidays, potlucks, and quick family desserts.

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz pretzels, crushed
4 tbsp butter, melted
16 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
6 oz instant chocolate pudding mix
2 ½ cups milk
8 oz whipped topping

Optional toppings
Extra crushed pretzels
Drizzled peanut butter
Chocolate shavings or chocolate drizzle

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust. Crush the pretzels into small crumbs. In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels with the melted butter until evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 7 x 10 inch baking dish to form the crust.
  2. Make the peanut butter layer. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the pretzel crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  4. Prepare the pudding. In a separate bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with 2 ½ cups of milk until thickened.
  5. Pour the chocolate pudding over the peanut butter layer and gently spread it into an even layer.
  6. Add the topping. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the pudding layer.
  7. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until the layers are set.
  8. Slice, garnish with crushed pretzels or peanut butter drizzle if desired, and serve.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother filling.
Chill the dessert longer for cleaner slices and firmer layers.
If using dairy free milk, mix the pudding with a hand mixer to help it thicken properly.
You can make this dessert several hours ahead of serving.
