Ingredients
8 oz pretzels, crushed
4 tbsp butter, melted
16 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
6 oz instant chocolate pudding mix
2 ½ cups milk
8 oz whipped topping

Instructions
- Prepare the crust. Crush the pretzels into small crumbs. In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels with the melted butter until evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 7 x 10 inch baking dish to form the crust.
- Make the peanut butter layer. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the pretzel crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Prepare the pudding. In a separate bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with 2 ½ cups of milk until thickened.
- Pour the chocolate pudding over the peanut butter layer and gently spread it into an even layer.
- Add the topping. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the pudding layer.
- Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until the layers are set.
- Slice, garnish with crushed pretzels or peanut butter drizzle if desired, and serve.
