Beat cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth. Set aside.
-
Dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water; let it cool to room temp.

Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar, vanilla, and orange zest until stiff peaks form.

Spoon alternating layers of cream cheese and gelatin mixtures over crust. Smooth top.
-
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until set.
Notes
Let cream cheese soften before mixing to ensure a smooth filling.
For a prettier presentation, garnish with orange zest, whipped cream, or orange slices.
This cheesecake sets better when chilled overnight.
