1 1/2 cups (348 g) mashed ripe bananas (about 4 large bananas)
1 (6 oz) premade Oreo pie crust
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate chips: Place the chocolate chips in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring between each round, until the chocolate is completely smooth and melted.
- Incorporate the bananas: Stir the mashed bananas into the melted chocolate until the mixture is fully combined and uniform with no visible banana chunks.
- Assemble the pie: Pour the chocolate-banana mixture into your premade Oreo crust. Use a spatula to smooth the top evenly.
- Chill to set: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, though a few hours or overnight is best for a firm texture.
- Optional toppings: Once the pie has set, top with whipped cream or chocolate curls for extra flair.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for best texture and sweetness.
Do not use frozen bananas as they add excess moisture.
