  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  • In a shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • In another dish, beat the eggs with the milk. Place the flour in a third dish.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg mixture, then coat with the bread crumb mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
  • Transfer chicken to the baking dish.
  • Mix remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan with mozzarella and garlic. Sprinkle over the chicken.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and cheese is bubbly and golden. Serve hot!
