- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- In a shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, beat the eggs with the milk. Place the flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg mixture, then coat with the bread crumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer chicken to the baking dish.
- Mix remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan with mozzarella and garlic. Sprinkle over the chicken.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and cheese is bubbly and golden. Serve hot!
