  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Carbquik mix
  • 8 strips of cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie plate with no-stick spray or butter.
  • Brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  • In a medium bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the ground beef.
  • Add Carbquik mix, salt, 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, milk, and onion (if using). Stir until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the pie plate and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
