Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a food processor, blend almonds, dates, salt, and vanilla until a sticky crumble forms. If the mixture is too dry, add a splash of water to help it come together.
- Form the base: Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of a 7″ springform pan or a pie dish lined with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Make the filling: Rinse out your food processor, then add the avocados. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Add the flavor: Add lime juice, zest, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until fully incorporated and adjust to taste.
