Ingredients
Scale
6 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup honey
Neutral oil (like canola or vegetable oil), for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Wash the peaches thoroughly and slice them in half, removing the pits.
- Lightly coat both the cut side and the skin side of each peach with a bit of neutral oil.
- Place peaches on the grill, cut side down. Grill over indirect heat for about 3-5 minutes, until grill marks appear and the fruit is tender.
- Turn the peaches and cook the skin side for another 2 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat the honey in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 to 45 seconds.
- Mix in the cinnamon until well blended.
- Drizzle the warm honey-cinnamon mixture over the grilled peaches before serving.
Notes
Use firm ripe peaches for the best texture.
A grill pan or broiler works if a grill isn’t available.
Serve with vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
Swap honey with maple syrup for a vegan version.
Add bourbon to the sauce for a boozy twist.
