Description

Garlic Butter Spaghetti Bowls are a fun twist on traditional pasta night. Loaded with savory beefy spaghetti, topped with melty cheese, and served in crispy garlic bread bowls, they’re a cozy comfort food dinner that looks impressive but is easy to make. A family favorite that’s perfect for using up leftover spaghetti!

Ingredients

Scale

5 Italian Bread Boules

4 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon chopped parsley

1 pound spaghetti noodles

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 pounds ground beef

1 tablespoon minced garlic

½ yellow onion, diced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

3 cups (24 oz) pasta sauce

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  • Cook Spaghetti: Prepare spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and cook the diced onions for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Add Meat and Garlic: Add ground beef and cook until no pink remains. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 30-45 seconds.
  • Season and Sauce: Drain any excess grease. Season meat with Italian seasoning, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add pasta sauce and mix thoroughly.
  • Combine with Pasta: Toss the cooked spaghetti noodles into the meat sauce and stir to coat well.
  • Prepare Bread Bowls: Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut a circle from the tops of the bread boules and hollow out the centers, leaving some bread for structure.
  • Butter the Bowls: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and chopped parsley. Brush this mixture inside each bread bowl.
  • Fill and Bake: Fill each bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture. Top with shredded mozzarella. Bake for 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Great way to use leftover spaghetti—just reheat and stuff into fresh bread bowls.

For extra crunch, toast bread bowls for 2–3 minutes before filling.

Don’t toss the removed bread! Turn it into breadcrumbs or homemade croutons.

Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer to restore crispiness.
