Ingredients
8 chicken tenders
½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
¼ cup mayonnaise
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp paprika
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
1 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (parsley, basil, or chives)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 °F (190 °C). Lay the chicken tenders on a baking tray and season them evenly with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine sour cream (or Greek yogurt), mayonnaise, garlic powder, paprika, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the creamy mixture evenly across each chicken tender, covering the top side. Arrange the coated tenders on the baking pan.
- Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the tops, pressing gently so it adheres to the sour cream layer.
- Bake for approximately 12 minutes, until the coating is set and the chicken is cooked through.
- Switch the oven to broil and broil for 3–4 minutes, watching closely until the Parmesan crust turns golden brown and crisp.
- Remove from the oven and let rest briefly. Garnish with chopped herbs and serve immediately.
Notes
Use Greek yogurt for a lighter, tangier flavor.
Perfect for meal prep—make ahead and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
To reheat leftovers, use the oven for a crispier crust.
