Description

This Easy Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls Casserole combines the best of both worlds: gooey cinnamon rolls and sweet apple pie filling in a warm, comforting bake that’s perfect for brunch or dessert.


Ingredients

1 (17.5 oz) can of store-bought cinnamon rolls (with icing)

1 (21 oz) can of apple pie filling

½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted

3 tablespoons dark brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon powder


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375℉.
  • Open the canned cinnamon rolls and separate the rolls. Set aside the icing or glaze.
  • Cut each cinnamon roll into six bite-sized pieces.
  • Evenly coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with the melted butter.
  • Distribute the cinnamon roll pieces across the dish in a single layer.
  • Spoon the apple pie filling over the cinnamon rolls and spread it evenly.
  • Evenly dust the top with dark brown sugar and cinnamon powder.
  • Place the dish in the oven and bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Finish by drizzling the reserved icing over the warm casserole right before serving.

Notes

Add chopped pecans or walnuts for a crunchy twist.

For more spice, sprinkle in a pinch of nutmeg or clove.

Best enjoyed warm. Reheat leftovers in the microwave for 30–45 seconds.
