Description

  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken breast tenders (or 4 chicken breasts, cut into tenders)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can of cream of chicken soup
  • 4 oz (1/2 cup) onion and chive cream cheese
  • 1 oz packet of dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 lb angel hair pasta (prepared according to package directions)

Instructions

  • Turn crock pot onto high to start warming it up.
  • Add the melted butter, chicken stock, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and Italian dressing mix to the crock pot. Whisk together until smooth.
  • Place chicken tenders in the crock pot, ensuring they are coated with the sauce.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2-2.5 hours or on low for 4-4.5 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Prepare angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
  • Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked pasta and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use spaghetti or fettuccine if you don’t have angel hair pasta on hand.
  • Chicken thighs can be used in place of chicken tenders for extra juiciness.
