Description
Churro Cracker Candy is a super easy, crispy, and sweet treat made with buttery caramel, crunchy saltine crackers, cinnamon-sugar, and melted white chocolate. It’s perfect for parties, holidays, or whenever you need a quick and fun dessert. You won’t believe how simple this crowd-pleaser is to make!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2–3 sleeves saltine crackers
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 (12 oz) bag white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Arrange saltine crackers in an even layer, covering the entire sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved and bubbly. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the crackers. Spread if needed.
- Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes, until the caramel is bubbly and darkened.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle white chocolate chips on top. Let them melt for 5 minutes, then spread evenly over the crackers.
- Quickly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top of the melted chocolate.
- Allow candy to cool for 30-60 minutes, then break into bite-sized pieces. Store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Make sure the caramel bubbles long enough to fully melt the sugar—it should be smooth and thick before pouring.
- For a variation, try using dark or milk chocolate instead of white chocolate, or add chopped nuts for extra crunch!
- Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Perfect for make-ahead treats!
