Description

Chocolate Peanut Butter Lush is a no bake layered dessert featuring an Oreo cookie crust, creamy peanut butter cheesecake layer, rich chocolate pudding, and fluffy whipped topping finished with mini peanut butter cups and a drizzle of warm peanut butter. Perfect for holidays, potlucks, and make ahead entertaining.

Oreo Crust
3 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
6 tablespoons butter, melted

Peanut Butter Cheesecake Layer
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
8 ounces whipped topping, thawed

Chocolate Pudding Layer
1 box 5.9 ounce chocolate instant pudding mix
3 cups half and half

Topping
8 ounces whipped topping
Chopped mini peanut butter cups
1/2 cup peanut butter, warmed until pourable


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter until evenly coated. Press firmly into a 9×13 pan and freeze for 20 minutes.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Mix in peanut butter until fully blended. Fold in whipped topping just until combined. Spread evenly over chilled crust.
  3. Whisk together instant pudding mix and half and half for 1 to 2 minutes until thickened. Spread gently over the peanut butter layer.
  4. Spread remaining whipped topping over pudding layer. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped peanut butter cups and drizzle with warmed peanut butter. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

Allow at least 8 hours of refrigeration so the layers fully set. Overnight chilling produces the cleanest slices.

Use full fat cream cheese and half and half for the best texture and structure.

Add toppings just before serving to maintain freshness.

For neat slices, wipe the knife clean between each cut.
