Description

This Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole is your answer to a fast, delicious, and satisfying weeknight dinner! With just 6 simple ingredients, it’s packed with cheesy goodness, crispy bacon, and tender chicken, all tossed in a creamy ranch Alfredo sauce. Perfect for feeding the whole family with minimal prep and cleanup. It’s comfort food made easy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces uncooked pasta (penne or your favorite short pasta)
  • 6 strips thick-cut bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 1 (15-ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 cups cooked rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and move the rack to the top third.
  • Boil salted water for the pasta and cook it 1 minute less than package directions suggest. Drain.
  • While pasta cooks, fry the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  • In a 9×13 casserole dish, mix cooked pasta with Alfredo sauce and ranch seasoning. Toss in chicken and half of the bacon. Mix well.
  • Smooth the pasta mixture evenly in the dish. Top with shredded mozzarella and the remaining bacon.
  • Bake uncovered for 15 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly. Optional: broil for a few minutes to brown the cheese (watch closely).
  • Let cool slightly and serve!

Notes

  • For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free pasta.
  • Feel free to add veggies like broccoli or spinach for extra nutrition.
  • This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated. Add an extra 5-10 minutes to the bake time if chilled.
  • Broiling the top adds a delicious crispy, golden cheese layer—just be sure not to burn it!
