Description

Cajun Honey Butter Salmon is a quick 25-minute meal packed with bold Cajun spices and a rich honey-butter glaze. Try it tonight!

Ingredients

Scale

4 fresh salmon fillets (skin-on preferred)

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

Salt, to taste

4 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of ½ lemon

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Black sesame seeds (optional garnish)

Instructions

  • Pat salmon dry with paper towels. Rub with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and a pinch of salt.

  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high. Sear salmon skin-side up for 3 minutes, then flip and cook 2 minutes more.

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium. Add honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Simmer for 2 minutes, then stir in lemon juice.

  • Pour sauce over salmon in skillet. Baste frequently and cook 3–5 more minutes until done.

  • Garnish with parsley, lemon wedges, and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use skin-on salmon for better texture and flavor. Adjust Cajun spice level to your taste. This glaze also works with shrimp or chicken.
