Description

Bisquick Impossible Pizza Pie is a quick and easy dinner recipe loaded with cheesy, savory pizza flavors. Made with simple ingredients like ground beef, marinara sauce, and Bisquick, this oven baked dish creates its own crust while cooking. Perfect for busy weeknights, it is hearty, family friendly, and ready in just 35 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef
1 diced onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 cup marinara sauce
1/4 cup chopped pepperoni plus extra for topping
1/2 cup Bisquick
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and lightly grease a pie pan.
  2. Cook ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
  4. Mix in chopped pepperoni and cook for a few minutes. Drain excess grease.
  5. Add marinara sauce and minced garlic, stir, then remove from heat.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together Bisquick, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  7. Spread half of the meat mixture into the pie pan and top with 1 cup cheese.
  8. Add remaining meat mixture and top with remaining cheese.
  9. Pour Bisquick mixture evenly over the top.
  10. Add extra pepperoni slices on top.
  11. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden and set. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use freshly shredded mozzarella for better melting and texture.

Drain grease well to avoid a heavy dish.

Let the pie rest before slicing for cleaner cuts.

You can swap ground beef with turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
