Ingredients
1 (3.4 oz) box instant banana pudding mix
1 (40 oz) can crushed pineapple in juice
1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip, thawed
3 large ripe bananas, sliced
16 oz fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
4 cups mini marshmallows
1 (10 oz) jar maraschino cherries, drained and stems removed
½ cup finely chopped peanuts or walnuts, plus extra for topping
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips, plus extra for topping
Whipped cream (optional), for topping
Sprinkles (optional), for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the banana pudding mix and crushed pineapple (with juice) until powder dissolves and mixture thickens.
- Carefully mix in the Cool Whip with a rubber spatula until smooth and evenly blended.
- Add the sliced bananas, chopped strawberries, mini marshmallows, maraschino cherries, chocolate chips, and nuts. Fold until everything is evenly coated in the pudding mixture.
- Chill covered in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours to let the flavors combine and the fluff set properly.
- To serve, dollop more whipped cream, sprinkle extra chocolate chips, nuts, and maraschino cherries, plus sprinkles if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
For best flavor and texture, chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Use ripe but firm bananas and slice just before adding.
You can swap strawberries for other fresh fruit like blueberries or peaches.
For a dairy-free version, use non-dairy whipped topping and vanilla pudding mix.
Lightly stir leftovers before serving again to freshen the fluff.
